How do i make my computer run faster?

My laptop, an asus u50a, suddenly got extremely slow today after working perfectly fine yesterday. I've already done many things mentioned here or elsewhere online. I deleted all my internet history and cookies. I downloaded easycleaner to clean up my registry. I uninstalled about 30 different programs i don't use. I used system restore to restore it back to a few days ago. The computer works well for 2 or 3 minutes after turning it on but then starts sporatically freezing, which usually happens when i open up the internet browser. After browsing through a page or two it would freeze up and say that the shockwave plug-in has crashed and it stops the scripts from shockwave, but keeps freezing up so i tried using ie, firrfox, and chrome but none of them worked so i uninstalled them then downloaded them on another computer to a usb and reinstalled it on here but it still didn't work. It freezes up on its own actually when im doing absolutely nothing on it as well. I tried creating a new user on the computer but that didn't work. The computer is only a year old and worked smoothly until today. All the changes I've done i did in safe mode because.that's the only way it doesn't freeze while im making the changes. Please give me somewhere else i could start to try to fix this issue. I've spent literally the last 6 hours nonstop trying to fix it and its only gotten marginally better at best.

I blew all my laptop's usb ports..way to fix it?

I seem to have broken pretty much all four of my usb ports on my laptop. It's not a terribly old laptop at all, maybe a year and half but I don't think we're under warranty anymore. Is there a way to fix this? Two are physically broken, a piece fell out of one and the other got jammed under the plug's lip. Two are marginally workable, but very sensitive, they tend to loose connection rather easily so plugging in usb hubs really haven't been working, and have been a pain with the ac adapter to plug into an outlet. I really am not in the position to get a new laptop, should I take it to a shop to have new usb ports soldered on the motherboard? There are other ports on the left side of the laptop, like HDMI and I believe a cable jack and one other thing, are there any ways to convert one of them into a usb port/station? Thanks

Should I buy VANS or TOMS?

You should most definetly go with the TOMS. Not only is there the "one for one" they look nice and they are light on your feet, good for running, walking, biking and other outdoor activities. Vans are kind of clunky like on your feet and its not as easy to run in them. You should either get the olive or chocolate because the red are a little to bright for walking around and get dirty very easy.

recently, I bought the dye i normally use but from an unfamiliar website due finding the product at a marginally lower cost than normal. It is a 'Wella Koleston Vibrant Reds 55/65 Light Intense Violet Mahogany Brown' as it was from an unfamiliar supplier i decided to do a skin test just to make sure it was ok to use. Fortunately, i found my skin to have no adverse reactions to it However, The first time i used this dye I performed a skin test it went a pinky/red wine colour which is the colour it is supposed to go on the hair. With this skin test the patch has gone bright yellow...what does this mean? is it safe to put on my hair? x

I like your general structure. I'd add another Gilford the Legend just in case something happens to one before you can summon it because you can't monster reborn him. Also Get your hands on a Warrior Returning Alive spell card and a Sword of the Soul Eater equip card. A couple of cards that can negate the activation of cards like Really Eternal Rest and Eternal Rest would be good for you because of all of your equip cards. Definitely get Silent Swordsman LV 7. He's like a Jinzo for Spell cards. I personally would not go with 60 cards. But that's just my preference and I know how hard it can be to cut down a deck you worked hard to build. But 60 can make it difficult to get what you want. Hope all this helped.

27 and pregnant:Abortion, Adoption, Keep it?

I just found out I was pregnant. I am 27, a college graduate, have a stable job that I only marginally like,have insurance, a retirement plan, and am engaged to a man I plan to marry in 2 years. Unfortunately, my fianc�e is 24 and still in college pursuing his undergraduate degree. He is full time student and doesn't have a job so that he can concentrate just on his studies. We have talked over our options but can't seem to reach an agreement. This was a very unplanned pregnancy and we were taking numerous precautions (birth control pills, condoms and ovulation counting all together) I am 27 and as someone hastily nearing 30, I am worried that it could be 3 or 4 more years before I am even able to try to have a child again. Infertility runs in my family and all my relatives have had some trouble with it. What if this is my only chance to have a child unassisted or my only chance to have a child at all? He was an abortion for the obvious reason but my thinking is that we are planning to get married anyway. We want a family. This is just happening a bit early. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Has anyone else run into the situation? I am 27 not 16. Is this really such a huge deal and something to be ashamed of? Please note that we have no other children (together or apart).

Would this make a good outdoors knife?

What bothers me most is that they don't say what it is made of. A good design means nothing if it is made of inferior materials. In my opinion it is made of inferior steel since they don't specify. If it was made of top quality steel they wouldn't hesitate to say so. The second is the design is useless, made for looks but not for the "real" world. In real survival situations simpler is better. A kukri is designed as a hacking blade, not for slicing. The saw back would do nothing but weaken the blade, if the blade were made properly you would be able to hack through a limb much faster than you could saw through it. That is why I use the kukri design in my machetes. Look for a quality knife, for corrosive environments stainless is best but for edge holding and strength carbon steel is best and for a survival knife a selectively tempered blade of 5160 is the best. I regularly make these that can be dropped on their points form eye level and leave a divot in my concrete floor without damage to the blade. Good luck.

I would suggest adjusting your die. Its not flaring the case mouth out enough to properly let the bullet guide in and or full length resizing the case causing the feeding problem. You may also want to consider a tight tolerance die set for auto loading pistols or carbide dies with tight close wall tolerence's. Which improve's the feeding problems in the chamber fit area and avoids the use of lube in resizing. ALWAYS use these die's in the auto loader series of rifles. And different cases will have different variations in wall thickness.

Does any over-the-range microwave have a powerful exhaust fan so it can handle steam, etc. from all burners?

We have a small kitchen in our cottage and wanted to get more counter space by moving our microwave from the counter to over-the-range. The exhaust fan on our over-the-range microwave is so weak it works marginally for exhausting the back burners of our range and does nothing for the front burners. We had a repair person come out and he said our fan is working properly and added that over-the-range microwave fans "don't do a very good job". The appliance sales person told us that the exhausting capabilities in the over-the-range microwaves aren't as good as what you can get in the new over-the-range exhaust hood type units (which I can understand), but I find it hard to believe that the fan built into a new appliance isn't as good as the 20 year old vent hood that we replaced. HELP Allergies, Post nasal drip?

I weas recently dignaosed with allergies to many indoor and outdoor triggers, namely all grasses, maples, ragweed, dust, mold, and cockroaches, and although I started taking flonase and allegra, which seems to be helping at least marginally, I am still having a big problem with post nasal drip. I also seem to have a ball of mucus in the back of my throat, and due to so stated ball of mucus I am constantly coughing and clearing my throat, which is really disgusting, I know lol. I also have a sore throat almost conatantly and subsequently have trouble swallowing a lot of the time. This is really starting to affect my quality of life, Im running out of ideas as to how I can rid myself of this **** for good. Oh I also have a deviated septum. And I use a neti pot religiously twice a day erday, and get relief from using it for about ten minutes afterwards. Help please

We have our books sorted by topic, or series. Our series collections are alphabetical by author's last name. For example we have all the DK books in one place and all the Osborne books in one place. They usually have the topic written on the side. (We don't have them with the front facing out- just shelved). There are some labels on certain things. We have a HUGE collection of autism resources (we should start an autism book store, I swear) and it is labelled with dates because autism research goes gets old really fast. Certain other books have labels on the shelves too. We haven't cataloged them though. I don't see the point really because I can find things easily.

How much does your employment status and income level influence your politics?

It is actually surprising the number of republicans I know who are basically poor, uneducated and have received governmental assistance. It is mind blowing really. I have a job, nice vehicle, own my own home and am not in any danger of foreclosure right now. My bills are current and I have not received any governmental assistance but I am a liberal. Cause you know what? I care about people not the 'almighty' dollar. HELP - Urgent advice needed about ears after using q-tips?

I used a q-tip 3 nights ago because my ear was itchy and immediately after my ear felt more blocked and i suffered some hearing loss. The next day it was marginally better but then i had a shower and got water in it which made it a thousand times worse. It unblocked a bit afterwards but there was still slight hearing loss. It has been this slight hearing loss for 2 days now - it ached a bit (not much) yesterday but has barely ached at all today. However the slight hearing loss remains. Could this be permanent? Should be going to doctor tomorrow. Should I be worried? Is this just a normal ear infection?

I got a call from my mum today while I was at the city with my friends and she asked to me inquire about the watch that she wanted at this specific jewelry store. I knew what the watch looked like because my mum pointed it out before in the sale catalogue. I was looking at the ladies watches to find the watch that my mum wanted and as usual the saleswoman asked me if I needed any assistance. I replied no thank you and that I was just looking around. But she wouldn't leave me alone, she kept standing and there and asking me if I was purchasing a watch for my boyfriend (*sarcasm*yes because I would totally purchase a lady's watch for my non existent boyfriend). Before I had time to answer my friends thought it'd be amusing to shout 'YES." The saleswoman seemed surprise and she kept asking me if he was rich and handsome. She kept going off rather unprofessionally about my how supposedly lucky my non existent boyfriend was. At this point I was extremely embarrassed and very uncomfortable, but my *wonderful* peers decided to take advantage of the awkward moment and hint that my non existent boyfriend was an unemployed nobody. At this point nobody laughed not even my friends because I just stood there stunned. She walked away and I immediately left the store. I probably over reacted but the woman's intentions were to humiliate me which was a shame because I didn't tell my mum about that specific store and found another one with a better price on the watch. I currently play the cello, but I have a problem. I'm the sort of objective-based person that like to see results. After practicing for (insert amount of time) I just can't help but notice that after that amount of time I am marginally "better", if any, at the one part that I was practicing. It just seems like a time sink that I can never find progress in. It feels like running on a treadmill; you can run as "far" as you want, but when you get off, you haven't moved. Quick summary: Been on a few dates before xmas, then a break, then seeing her again now were back in the same city. Post nasal drip, help please?

I weas recently dignaosed with allergies to many indoor and outdoor triggers, namely all grasses, maples, ragweed, dust, mold, and cockroaches, and although I started taking flonase and allegra, which seems to be helping at least marginally, I am still having a big problem with post nasal drip. I also seem to have a ball of mucus in the back of my throat, and due to so stated ball of mucus I am constantly coughing and clearing my throat, which is really disgusting, I know lol. I also have a sore throat almost conatantly and subsequently have trouble swallowing a lot of the time. This is really starting to affect my quality of life, Im running out of ideas as to how I can rid myself of this **** for good. Oh I also have a deviated septum. And I use a neti pot religiously twice a day erday, and get relief from using it for about ten minutes afterwards. Help please
