GIRLS ONLY! (boys wouldn't know about make-up)?

Does anyone know any good make up tips for parties or any make up videos that tell you step by step how to do them thx. Also i go to a school where i'm not allowed to wear make-up (unfortuantly) any tips on wearing make up subtly so that it doesn't look like i'm wearing it but makes me look better? Also (sorry for so many also's) does anyone know how to make themselves look prettier? I know its a stupid question but I NEED ANSWERS! I'm marginally pretty now (So not a bad surface to work on , i guess) but any tips to look prettier? THANKS SO MUCH!
