Atheists, did you why the Big Bang doesn't disprove religion?

The opposite of religion is secularism, not science. Science does not involve itself in the issue of god at all. It is rather like a detective who goes out and finds evidence and brings it in. If science finds something counter to religion, religion must adjust. All science has done has been to report the facts. If the big bang is somehow related to god or religion, that isn't science's lookout. Granted, many atheists prefer the findings of science, but religious people can, too, if they feel like it.
